Tastee Urban Art
I AM TALKING ABOUT YOU TASTEE: In Old Quebec City and Old Levis municipal crews are quick to remove graffiti and unauthorized street art. Hard to find anything beyond crudely sprayed tags, except along the stairway where urban artist Tastee's black spray-paint can rules supreme.
It is a tall step climb on the stairs that lead from the St Lawrence River Ferry Dock up to Levis. It is along the concrete posts anchoring the staircase -- out of the range of the clean-up crews -- that Tastee plies his art! Basic cartoon style, but exhausted as I walked the steps, the art is an excellent excuse to stop and ponder Tastee's growing portfolio.
