Prachap-Khiri-Khan (Thaïlande) - Ce jour là, il y avait du vent et j'avais vu ce petit bout de cordage qui passait devant l'oeil du jeune marin. Je me suis dit que ce serait sympa de déclencher au moment où la boucle encadrerait l'oeil de l'enfant. Ne travaillant pas en mode rafale, je n'avais quasiment aucune chance de capter la photo que j’avais en tête.
Je me suis donc concentré en comptant mentalement le temps que le codage mettait pour faire un aller et retour en espérant que la force du vent ne faiblirait pas. Et j'ai déclenché au moment -très aléatoire- qui me semblait opportun.
Vérification faite sur l'écran de contrôle, le petit bout de cordage en boucle s'était transformé en monocle. Coup de chance ! Tant mieux car je n'avais pas envie de passer une heure à essayer d'obtenir cette improbable photographie. Si je n'avais pas eu la photo je n’aurais pas réitéré l'essai. Ce jour là, j'ai eu une chance insolante. J’aurais dû acheter un billet de la loterie nationale thaïlandaise.

Prachap-Khiri-Khan (Thailand) - That day, it was windy and I saw this little piece of rope passing in front of the young sailor's eye. I thought it would be nice to trigger when the loop framed the child's eye. Not working in burst mode, I had almost no chance of capturing the photo I had in mind.
So I concentrated. I mentally counted the time the coding took to go back and forth, hoping that the force of the wind would not weaken. And I triggered at the -very random- moment that seemed appropriate to me.
Verification made on the control screen, the small piece of looped rope had turned into a monocle.

So much the better because I didn't want to spend an hour trying to get this improbable photograph. If I had not had the photo I would not have repeated the test. That day, I had an insolent chance. I should have bought a Thai National Lottery ticket.
