I wasn't certain at first whether of not this had actually been a petrol station, although one of the mechanics here said it had been, it was then another chap who came along to say that it hadn't and the current owner was out doing an MOT.
Looking at the location of the garage which is down a track off a side street I would say that it was highly unlikely to have sold fuel and the lack of visible evidence also leaned towards the fact that the owner is a bit of a collector.
It does appear that in the 2013 photo there was no pump or Esso signs.
Google street view doesn't really help with only two close ups but the 2008 image from the road it appears the garage was under a different name but only a small section of the garage can be seen
