180210-1444 - On the ground - off & running
Nine hours after leaving Gatwick, at 14:45 local time (GMT -4) we're off & running!
Looks nice & sunny right now, and it was hot, but very windy. Bit of a 'lumpy' approach which management enjoyed!
All told, P&O had nine charter flights over Friday & Saturday to bring everyone out to Barbados for the cruise,
plus a few on scheduled BA & Virgin.
We were bussed directly from the apron to the cruise terminal, without having to clear immigration and customs, or collect our bags, which were ferried directly to the ship.
Very efficient!
