approaching the edge
In this photo, I'm seated close to the edge of a cliff in Dyer's Bay with the forest and lake beneath me. This image captures a moment in which I was completely disconnected from the everyday chaos at school and work, finally just getting some peace of mind.
I enjoy how the photo is separated into three different layers almost, one with the rock, one with the trees, the next with the water. I suppose I could have edited to make it more vibrant, but the water along the coast in this area is a really unique aqua kind of colour which makes it interesting. If I could change anything, I probably would have used a different subject that isn't my feet since there are definitely more interesting things I could have used.
I mentioned this before, but the photo is divided into three sections which kind of help with how bottom heavy the photo is. The layers help divide it into thirds and my foot also kind of follows the rule of thirds.
