Changing Winds

Things were going relative good with the board. I was desperate to be free of those money hungers that only saw me as a goddamn blank check to cash in any time. I growled between my teeth just to think of it. Was really consider to get rid of several rotten member that only see bills and profits regardless on how many kick down or crushed with depts and disemployment as long they get their pockets filled. That was never my oldman way to things, and I'll be damn if I don't followed his lead. I was on the phone with Crawford when the winds blew inside the country house, making my gaze turned to the entrance. I frowned lightly as I saw the small frame of redhead female with suitcase, before I could reacted, Mysty jump into arms and hugged me tight. She she was determined, had made up her mind, travel all the way to this huge city to tell me she wasn't going to leave my site, that we were her family now, me and Aileen, her doubts all gone and for now on, she would follow me to end. I couldn't help but smiled wide to her, her presence gave me some relief of the turmoil that was for me been in this polluted and overpopulated city. Only sad thing was that my mate wasn't here too to make me feel whole again. It comforted me knowing that she was so well with the youngs, I did a mental note to take everyone to some tropical island to enjoyed all of ourselves. Since Mysty was in the city, I don't see the point of having some reheated meal, so I took her to some restaurant to have a decent fresh meal with some warm wine as the season was changing, of course cold didn't bothers us, but we still have to pretend it does. We enjoyed ourselves so good that Mysty was nearly falling sleep when we arrived back the country house, she did took a quick nap on the way. After talking with my mate on phone about our day, I went to bed pleased that I didn't have to sleep alone tonight.
