.......Timmie looks a bit shocked. "Jesus Christ, I thought you was jokin' when we talked about them.... them..... umbrella things!" He is still happy to see his friend and waves down at her from "his" statue.
Peggy blinks once more trying to understand why he as well was so shocked. "Ohhh! You mean this!" she lowers her umbrella and lets out a very amused chuckle, having relaxed seeing her friend in an unfamiliar town "Well yes, this is how you are supposed to look like in big towns Timmie! you're actually ignoring the town laws! Quick! Grab this before someone sees you without an umbrella!" she teases him and reaches the thing up towards him to take
Timmie bursts into laughter "Oh geez yer right! I's so lucky noone done arrested me yet for my outlawish behaviour!" He grabs the umbrella and proudly rests the handle on his right shoulder, twirling the umbrella around some, nose pointing up to the sky! He stands up, wondering if he could jump down from the statue kind of using the umbrella as a parachute, but two thoughts keep him from it. 1st: the umbrella might break. 2nd: The roses and the bench don't provide a too awesome landing area. He adds number 1b: if the umbrella breaks, he might hurt himself even if he ain't landing on the bench or roses. So he passes the umbrella back down to Peggy. He rolls on his belly and carefully slides back until his toes touch the back rest of the bench, then he climbs down the rest to join his friend.
Peggy watches him sliding down with a little of worry, even though she knew he was used to jumping down bridges and who knows what else. She keeps her mouth shut though and wouldn't interfere his professional work of climbing down. She accepts her umbrella back and closes it down for now not to poke anyone's eye out. "You're going to be a president? Blimey! Let me imagine about that!" She rubs her chin pretending to be thinking "all stores to be turned into candy stores and kids will have them for free, and.. uhm.. no school ever, and.. no winters?"
Timmie nods his head eagerly at each of Peggy's ideas! "Yes and yes and YES and YESSSS! And chi'rens will be allowed to smoke and it will be forbidden to beat them and no early bed times and baths may be taken in the lake or river and without soap and and...some cursing will be allowed too! " He hastily adds "And free ice cream and free lemonade.".....
