For this week's theme, I was pushed by Heather to "...create a level of discomfort, anger, fear..something that strikes a cord and makes an image a little more difficult to look at but just as powerful because of it". Heather has known me long enough on Flickr to give me a perfect stretch beyond my usual choices (and trigger more than a few twisted ideas to pull out when I want to mix things up). Hopefully this fits the challenge and elicits a bit of creep factor. This doll certainly strikes terror in my daughter. "Creepy Maisey" has be hidden in a secret location (but kept because it was given to us by someone special - plus we're afraid she'd just keep coming back if we tried). Somehow after the initial screams when she found me taking pictures of the doll in the dark...well, being in on the action didn't seem so bad, and managed to be much better than I'd planned. After I promised that she didn't have to touch it...
