Doctor Varava or the Saarne Instituute recognizes Esther in a photo emailed to him by Kate and calls Kate on her cell phone. He asks if Esther is anywhere that she can hear Kate, then warns her to call her husband right away and tell him to get their family out of the house and then call the police. Esther is actually Leena Klammer, a psychotic serial killer born with a rare hormone disorder that gives her the appearance of a child even though she is actually 33 years old.
I first saw this movie on this TV, manufactured the same year Leena was born.
