Rushing Water
After a very enjoyable shoot in the fall last year, I decided to come back to Belgium, and make some more photographs of the river La Hoëgne. It always amazes me how much a landscape can change at different times during the day or year. There has been some heavy rain last week in the Ardennes, and this was clearly visible in the water, which rushed its way through the valley. Where last year I was able on most places to stand in the water, this was often impossible now because of the hight of the river. Nevertheless I found some spots where I managed to do so, and this always totally changes the perspective on the river. It is still a bit early in the autumn season, and most of the leaves were still green. I would have preferred to come here a few weeks later, but I have my second knee surgery planned for next Thursday. So this was my last shoot for a little while, and while trying to get the most out of it, I ran out of time much faster then I thought, and didn’t even complete the entire hike. But no regrets in any way, I had just as much fun as last year, think I made some nice shots and I have a very good reason to come back next year for the last part of the hike, hopefully in full fall colours!
Thanks for having a look! All faves and comments are highly appreciated!
