GBRf Rail Services Class 57/3, 57305 - on its first active duty for its new operator - and Class 47/7, 47739 head through a very dreary Hartford on 0M00 0600 Leicester Loco Inspection Point to Alstom Widnes Technology Centre.
The pair were heading to Widnes to perform coupling tests with the South Western Railway Class 458 unit there to determine whether the locomotives could haul the units in future without the need for barrier vehicles.
