Meeting Helen Susanto, Swiftest Female Runner I Know!
I managed to catch Helen Susanto last night before she leaves KL today. Helen is a sweet young lady from Jakarta and ambassador for adiNation of Runners Indonesia who placed 4th at the Women's Open 16.8k category at Adidas KOTR Malaysia last Sunday. She ran it with a timing of 01:27:27.54. The crazy part? She's only been running for a year! She's either superwoman or just extremely and naturally talented as a fast long distance runner.
Helen, you are my heroine, an inspiration to amateur female runners - and I am proud to have met you!
