Lego Custom Teen Titans Slade
So this is my custom Lego Slade based off his appearance in the 2003 Teen Titans show where he was voiced by the fantastic Ron Perlman. In that series he was never referred to as Slade Wilson or Deathstroke, just Slade. Anyhow, this is my Lego version of him.
To start, the helmet you see is an Ultron sentry helmet with the eye filled in with clay, I got that idea from TheMooseFigs' Deathstroke figure, his helmet looks a lot better than mine obviously, I painted one half orange and the other black. I then painted in an eye, and painted the neck a dark greyish colour.
For the torso, I used something my mom got at a dollarstore to make the sash, the lower torso is painted metallic silver, and the plate at the top of the torso is bristol board also painted a metallic silver.
The arms are self explanatory, the belt is a Lego Batman Movie belt piece that I painted silver, the legs I had a hard time getting a design that I liked on them that looked close enough to the Slade from the series. I know it's not 100% accurate but it looks good enough to me, knee pads on the top of the legs, knee pads on the lower legs, and silver on the feet.
I'm pretty happy with how this figure turned out.
If you have any thoughts or opinions feel free to share them in the comments, comments are always appreciated.
