I chose this specific portrait because the soft light, along with the curves created by the umbrella, suggest an idea of relaxation. At the same time, the pattern of the umbrella is almost hiding the eyes, the photo is low-key and low saturated, but the features are soft. The overall effect is of mystery while still being alluring. Lastly, the position of the umbrella created a shadow on the eyes, leaving the mouth in plain light and bringing the attention to that feature.
How all this fits the “Who are you?” question: well, the answer is in the mouth! I am Italian and we are considered “mouthy” people! We are loud, outspoken, and boisterous. Our country is alluring, since almost everyone I met abroad wants to go there at least once in their life, but it is also mysterious, because you can spend years living there and there will still be many places you don’t get to see.
