Former Baltimore & Ohio #6589 has a new lease on life working for the WICT throughout Southern Wisconsin. The Chessie paint was minimally modified in order to adapt to FRA rules, while minimizing costs for a relatively new shortline.
The unit is posing outside of the former Milwaukee Road roundhouse in Janesville, WI. on May 9, 1992. Remarkably, this structure is still standing today, albeit supporting the operations of the Wisconsin & Southern (WATCO) system.
