Union Pacific's YPV52 yard job rumbles along the original Provo Subdivision main line between Pleasant Grove and American Fork, Utah on Memorial Day, 1993. On the right is US Highway 89, often referred to as "State Street" by the locals. We decided to take the old highway on this day as traffic along parallel I-15 was at a standstill. Catching SW10 No. 1209 was just a happy accident.
