Capturée au foyer d'un Télescope Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain 280 mm équipé d'un réducteur de focale:F/D 6,3. A la pleine lune la lumière empêche les reliefs. On y découvre quand même au sud le cratère Tycho; Sur la gauche la plus grande mer lunaire: l’océan procellarum ; au dessus de gauche à droite les mers imbrium ,sérénité, Tranquillité et fécondité,
