The Prince of Wales Hotel
The magnificient 7-storyed hotel is located at the north end of Waterton Lakes. Builders had to contend with Waterton's horrendous winds---high winds twice blew the building off its centre during construction. The hotel was named after the Prince of Wales, who later became Edward VIII and abdicated the British throne for the love of Wallis Simpson, a divorced woman. Edward never visited the hotel.
