Week 2 | Transitions
My apologies for another last minute entry. The fact that I took this photo just this morning astounds me. I am really truly learning to trust my inner "photographer." Haha.
Anyway, the theme this week is "Transitions." I've thought a lot about this topic. To the point where I believe just about ANYTHING could be perceived as transitional. In this case, this tree in my backyard. It was once a budding tree, probably starting well before the build of my house in 1920. There probably weren't many structures around when this tree began its life. Its transition of the many years, the many houses, the many families that have climbed and played on this tree. And here it sits, overlooking everyone, everything...even time.
I love the monumental angle and the ominous feeling it evokes. This week I got to work more in Lightroom and play around with editing, which I love the effect I got!
