WIP BR GT3

Here's a fun little project I'm working on.

 

This rather ugly engine is a gas turbine engine. Built in 1961 as an experimental engine. Whilst mostly successful, British Rail scrapped the project as they weren't invested in it enough, to continue funding.

 

I needed a break from steamers, currently have 5 engines in the works, plus my class 33 which is now unlikely to be completed. I've always wanted to build this engine as I find it extremely interesting in terms of design.

 

Will hopefully begin ordering parts soon.
