2012 Avengers
So this is a bit of an on and off project I’ve had, and so happy with the final result.
Captain America was the first figure I finished out of the 5 I made. The helmet is from the Cat Woman from TLBM, which I sanded the shit out of. The torso is layered with E-tape, and the pouches are dry sculpted. The shield was painted with metallic blue, silver, and red.
Black Widow was inspired by TheMooseFigs version he posted a while ago. I painted the head and hair piece, sculpted the chest, used etape for the straps, my favourite part is the shield logos painted on her shoulders.
Hawkeye was made in a day. The face was painted, just a shaved version of my Civil War Hawkeye figure. The torso is layered in etape. The legs have etape straps. The bow was stolen from my Civil War version, and the quiver is a LEGO one i sanded down.
Thor’s torso was sculpted, with etape underneath. The chainmail on the arms were sculpted. I used fabric on the waist for the cloth thing he has, sculpted the circles. Replaces the handle on Mjolnir with a brown one, used a strip of etape for the handle boi at the end.
Wanted to make Iron Man in a battle damaged look, which meant a lot of gunmetal. I really liked DaLastPrime Battle Damaged Mark 42, which inspired me to sculpt the arms and legs.
Hulk is just my IW hulk which used Chris ball joint arm technique.
