Campus Point
My friend and I (he is shooting at the edge of the rocks) both noticed interesting clouds around 4 p.m. the other night (so lame that it gets dark at 5 now, but oh well). We decided to make our way to Campus Point, near UCSB, to shoot the sunset. Unfortunately, the clouds became a bit more spread out then they were earlier, but they still were quite colorful after the sun had set. It was a really windy evening which created crisp air and helped make the Channel Islands visible (off to the right of the photo).
Tech Info:
Canon 5d
Canon 17-40mm @ 17mm
2 exposures hand blended in photoshop:
One for the sky (f/13 @ 4 sec.)
One for the foreground (f/13 @ 20 sec.)
This is the first photo that I've gone over on my new imac and WOW! I can't get over how amazing this computer is!!
