Herringbone socks

Christmas socks are done. A little late, but done. My own creation, mostly.

 

Needles: US 1

Yarn: Socks that Rock mediumweight in Hollyday colorway

 

Pattern: Basic top-down construction. 72 stitches around. 12 stitch repeat - 10 stitches in herringbone surrounded by purls.

 

I was heavily inspired by these socks, but since I didn't have the book yet, I kind of reverse engineered them with the help of my handy stitchionary.
