Kavi shah’s portfolio:
My application for your university stems from my desire to study at one of the prestigious universities in the world and from my internationalist perspective as a world traveller.
A pencil, ruler and rubber; these are the essential tools that followed me around as a child whilst I imagined, sketched the artwork that inspired me throughout my travelling experience since childhood to be an artist. It was inevitable that I would pursue a career in design. It also ensues from my deep passion for art and my yearning to be amongst those who create the changing artwork that is taking over the cities.
However, it was only until recent experiences that I narrowed that choice down to becoming an artist. Being a fully committed art student I've neither lacked creativity, I've used of a variety of materials, techniques and processes to explore new techniques in art which is what I love doing. With a desire to explore how history and modern day art can be used to improve the performance of art both socially and environmentally.
This is my portfolio of sketchbook ideas and work that I produced during my school life.
