Weeping Larch...

in our garden... with such cute little pine cones!

 

Larch trees (botanical name Larix) are deciduous conifers with soft needle-like leaves growing radially in small tufts on branches. Larch trees are identified by their pyramidal growth, typical of most conifer species. However, unlike most conifers, larch trees turn golden yellow in the fall before dropping their leaves. Typically, larches are the first deciduous trees to grow leaves in the spring.
