Just one photograph today. I had driven from Alnwick to Amble, believing that I had made a booking for a Puffin Cruise to Coquet Island that afternoon. When I arrived, the company’s office was closed for the day and the next cruise would not be until the following day. In any case, it was low tide and there wouldn’t have been any cruises at that time anyway. Clearly there had been a misunderstanding, so I took a photograph of the attractive harbour and drove to Warkworth - an attractive village that I had driven through on my way to Amble.
