Dipper on Old Exmoor Bridge
Dippers have nested on this ancient packhorse bridge for at least the 25 years or so that I have been coming here and probably for much, much longer.
This year they have built again and the young dippers will probably hatch out in the next week.
Over the years I have got scores of dipper shots from here but have never seen one perch on the top of the bridge like this one did yesterday.
