She’s Arrived!
I affectionately nicknamed this Poppy ‘Big Red’ when she was initially revealed. Several months and a couple of delays later, she’s finally made it to me!
Her hair is extremely bright red, and it’s quite lovely. I was going to give her a reroot until I saw her bright eyebrows (yikes). British Invasion makes my 5th Poppy out of 6, and I really love her.
Big Red is sort of like a mix of Day Tripper and Mood Changers Lavender. Tripper is an unattainable grail Poppy for me, and Lavender is a Poppy that I let go some time ago. I do wish she had the exact screening as Tripper but I’m not complaining. She’s close enough for me to be content.
Anyway, this cartoonish Poppy is absolutely the cutest. I can’t wait to get some actual pictures of her and her very bright mane!
