Raptor Medium Mech

I know exactly what you're thinking: "I'm so dead."

A battalion of Calderan marines just showed up. A hailstorm of railgun rounds is flying at you. You watch helplessly as soldier grunts around you fall dead. And you wait for the moment when you'll die, too.

But you don't. You're sitting behind sixteen inches of carbon alloy armor, inside your Raptor.

You line the sights up and pull the trigger, and while the rotary autocannons roar thunder and spit metal in 14 millimeters, you think sentimentally about how the massacre of those hostile marines happening in front of you reminds you of the kiloton farm harvesters back home.

Then your sensors detect a tank, out for your blood. It's got a big cannon, ready to put a cruiser-sized hole through you. You consider reliving fond memories of your childhood.

Then you remember you've got a pair of anti-armor missiles mounted on your Raptor. The onboard AI casually mentions it already has a target lock, and asks if you'd like coffee. As that tank you fretted about rounds the corner, you watch its turret get hurled into the next street by a geyser of flame while you sip a relaxing cup of coffee.

You're interrupted by Command, which tells you that there's a squadron of bombers ready to hit the whole city district. You think about the tears of your family when they're notified of the loss of their child.

Until you remember the high-grade comms built into your Raptor. You flick the switch and have a quick chat with some nearby Anti-Air batteries. A minute later, the bombers fly into their doom. You add a few particle blasts of your own to the destruction.

As you sit back and sip the rest of your coffee, you finally realize: You're in a Raptor. You're invincible. You never have to fear death again.

That's the Raptor Medium Mech, folks, courtesy of Imperial Ordnance. Death not included.
