Birds chirping, children laughing and playing, motorcycles rumbling by, ice remnants floating down the river, goose poop everywhere...ahhh yes, spring is officially here.
Oh, and parents....why don't you stay off your cell phone and enjoy your children and don't ignore them when your toddler in the stroller is trying to get your attention and gets all excited and says "big birdie mommy, big birdie mommy", he is only getting louder because you are not paying attention to him, instead, you yell at him to sit down and shut up (exactly what she said to him). Breaks your heart.
