Anvil Point, 1967

Another favourite walk was along the footpath South from Swanage, taking in the Durlston Globe, Tilly Whim Caves and the lighthouse at Anvil Point. In the 1960s the fog horn was still in use. It was an eerie sound which left a deep impression on me.
