1966: Saturday 29 October, No.147 was taken out of passenger service.
1967: Wednesday 06 September, the Standard was shipped via Salford Docks on the “Manchester Renown” to Columbia Park, Olmstead Falls, Cleveland, Ohio (later known as the Brookins Museum of Electric Railways / Trolleyville USA). Since arriving it never operated except for trials in 1967 when it derailed twenty-two times in one day.
2000: Monday 02 October, 147 departed from Trolleyville, Ohio, Cleveland for the start of its long journey back to Blackpool. The tram was exchanged for Blackpool Open Boat 606.
* Saturday 21 October, the top deck of 147 arrived at Rigby Road
* Monday 23 October, the lower half arrived and both sections were reunited in Rigby Road bus yard.
2002: Friday 01 March, Following a major overhaul lasting nearly eighteen months 147 made its first test run on to the Promenade.
* Wednesday 03 April, MP Joan Humble official launched 147 at Talbot Square and the tram carried passengers again on a private tour to Fleetwood.
* Saturday 06 April, 147 entered normal passenger service, carrying fare paying passengers again for the first time in over thirty five years, this also included a visit to Fleetwood.
