2022 Neumann vs Southern Game Photos
PHILADELPHIA - November 24, 2022
Neumann Goretti escaped with a 26-20 victory over Southern in the Annual Thanksgiving Day rivalry game. Aside from a few varsity players who dressed for the game, most of the Saints remained on the sidelines wearing their "Battle" sports apparel, while handling the yardage and first-down markers.
Neumann-Goretti will face Northwestern Lehigh on Saturday, Nov 26, in a state playoff game.
Southern appeared lifeless and uninspired during pregame drills but played tough in a game notable for numerous penalties, fumbles and interceptions.
