Vancouver adventures - bird wars

One day out the big window of the place we were staying we saw a hawk and a hummingbird. One would leave and then the other would show up … this went on for a couple of hours and we were fascinated. Ever try taking a photo of a hummingbird in flight? Might as well try and capture whales surfacing to breathe (foreshadowing)
