Towers

On the left you can see the Hotel Tower (Hotelturm), built between 1971 and 1972, and on the right the two towers of the Catholic parish church of St. Anton, which was consecrated in 1927. They are located in Augsburg's Antonsviertel district, which is named after this church.

Hotelturm, a hotel and residential high-rise, is the highest building in the Augsburg area measuring 115 m (167 m including the antenna).

The architect of the Antonskirche was Michael Kurz, whose first work had been the design for the Herz-Jesu-Kirche in Augsburg-Pfersee (see the previous picture). de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Kurz

The architectural style in which this church was built is so-called Brick Expressionism (Backsteinexpressionismus). en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brick_Expressionism
