Another Condo Conversion
The old Hudson's Bay building. The building has been undergoing conversion to condos for a number of years now - it was supposed to be ready for occupancy two years ago. Originally a three story building (plus basement) built in the 1950s, a fourth floor was added to the department store around 1967, while the top floor was built by the current owners, as were the upper floor windows. If you look at the mosaic panels you can see where the original design ends and fourth floor addition begins.
