Broken wedding ring :(

This is what happens when you jam a tungsten wedding ring in a vice! It does not bend or deform like gold or silver, it just fractures. Here is a close up of the break.

 

This was a replacement ring to the first one I lost on the beach in the sand as I was agitating it for the kids to make it fluidize when it slipped off my finger and was no more. Even digging for it had no success. Was gone forever.
