Routeburn Falls
As the sun was setting on the first day of our trek this was a spectacular place to spend the night. This waterfall is found on the Routeburn track approximately 3-3.5hours hiking from the beginning of the track from Glenorchy. Routeburn falls is a beautiful cascading waterfall that continues even down further with a total height of 170m. This section of the waterfall would be roughly 30-50m high. There hadn't been a lot of rain in the days previous, but I could imagine it would be a powerful sight in full flow.
