"4 summers ago, we were at the emergency room with my little brother who was in anaphylactic shock. It happened twice. He can eat 25 different foods now, which is up from the initial handful of different kinds following that summer. We have been to multiple specialists of all types of medical disciplines, and still, no one can tell us what he reacted to nor how to help him. I could have lost him, so that is why I am studying what I am studying. I am going to be the person who figures out how to heal him and help other people who are in similar situations"
