Macro Monday: it's A-peeling to me
Ok, so this is when I realise that I might have a dangerous obsession with Flickr!
I had spotted this after Sunday lunch today as a better alternative for the macro Monday It's A-peeling to me. There's a run of orange peel macro work but I assume that there will be orange peel a plenty. This ( in daylight) was a more obvious choice as a natural a-peeling process. This years rhubarb is just starting to grow and break through it's protective winter skin, peeling back the brown layers gently, it greatly A-pealed to me.
However, the light was grim today and when I had uploaded the photos onto the computer they were either out of focus or too dark etc etc the usual problems.
Determined to get "the" snap I wanted i've just been out in the dark to get this shot. YES I know I've cheated by using the inbuilt flash, but I hope the MM community will forgive me in view of the more unusual ( I hope) capture!! The focal point is less than an inch in size at present, it'll grow though!
