M.C. Escher's "Three Worlds"

 

Monochromatic artwork is so much fun to reproduce with henna - the shading techniques are the same as pencil drawings or watercolor painting. I hennaed the outlines of the leaves first, then put down big blobs of henna around them, then scraped away everything that didn't look like a fish ;).
