Hampshire Bus 291 (FHE 291V)
Early in Stagecoach's ownership of Hampshire Bus, they transferred in two former SYPTE Leyland DAB bendybuses (I can't remember why, was it for the Winchester to Southampton route? Whatever it was, they didn't last long!). Anyway this is 291 (FHE 291V) in Fareham on a special shuttle service on the occasion of an open day at Provincial's Hoeford depot. Around 1988, I think.
This version of Stagecoach's stripey livery with thicker stripes and no white skirt was by far the best IMO!
