Well this was just one of the keepers from the wonderful morning of September 27, 2021 at Fergusons Trestle west of Antonito, Colorado. Here Denver & Rio Grande 168 rolls across with that fiery sky backdrop, that without these wonderful clouds would have been just another - ho-hum standard sunrise silouette. I am pretty sure most on Pete Lerro's charter would have been happy to return to Antonito and head out for a nice breakfast, as we all knew, that we could not out do this "dawn on fire" scene the rest of the day.
