Here is an LDD screenshot of the current design situation regarding the main power car PC1 (PC2 will be identical, but no battery obviously).
The XL-motor (as per excellent designs elsewhere on Flickr etc) drives directly into the power bogie via a 2M axle. It swings on two axles mounted horizontally. Actually, the car swings or tilts on the motor mount really! At least, that's the plan....
