Sun sets west so I know where I'm going

 

Half an hour before sunset, 89001 brings up the rear of the DVT led southbound run of The Avocet Achievement railtour, the 15.10 Glasgow Central - Crewe, passing Bay Horse on Wed 7th October 2026.

 

The train was running half an hour late at this point, which for the 3 of us here, enabled this type of shot to be worth a go.
