Unwanted guests ?

Mason Bee with an infestation of mites. Whilst they look concerning, these mites are apparently of no danger to the bee, unlike the Varroa mite which is parasitic and harmful to honeybees. The mites are thought to do little to harm the bee. It is believed they feed on pollen and the bee is just a convenient means for them to access this. The bee just acts as a taxi service 😂
