I created the doll characters from wool and a wire frame, sticking to bright colours and simpler shapes to create more childlike drawings.
From these, i developed a series of multi-media characters, using different materials and methods to further encourage the mannerisms of a child.
It was from these drawing, that I produced my first screen prints, using only the basic shapes of the character, and contrasting the loud colours and patterns to create my final prints.
