Lots of kids were in the fountain that day, none of them were doing much of any interest. I was walking away, foot poised above the earth in mid-stride when I saw her about to go in. Immediately I froze and shot. Maybe this is what Carier-Bresson's decisive moment, huh? In my case I will chalk it up to luck. Lucky the camera was on, the lens cap was off, I wasn't zoomed to 300mm, lucky a cloud didn't pass overhead and reduce my shutter speed to 1/60... A little more luck and I might get better at this!
