Half and half
I always love the sand patterns the combination of waves wind and water create in the sand. this was on the edge of a drainage channel, and gave a lovely creased effect. I decided to split the scene diagonally, hence Half and half by Ivor Cutler. I was going to make this black and white, but liked the colour contrast emphasising the division of textures between wet and dry.
