The summit of the Lamsenspitze is just emerging. (cross just visible) To reach the summit you climb ladders and a via ferrata. The scale is given by the cross...it was a truly awesome place to be and a place to be explored some more in future. The Karwendel mountains form an almost impenetrable wall of limestone running for nearly 20 km N of Innsbruck and is Austria's biggest Nature Park and maybe one of their best secrets!
